There is a Thai restaurant in my neighborhood. Storefront is very big and has simple decorations. Especially when entering the restaurant, there is a big Thai idol to attract attention. The environment is also very quiet, the restaurant will play calm Thai songs, letting people in a relaxed feeling. It’s big, with more than twenty tables, so it doesn’t feel crowded even during lunch or dinner time. It has one of my favorite desserts, and one of the most famous desserts in Thailand! Mango sticky rice! The mango sticky rice is the best I’ve ever had in America. The sticky rice is neither mushy nor too hard, and is served at the right heat every time. The mango is also fresh and sweet, but this dish is a seasonal dish and can only be ordered in summer.
The three majors I choose are Business Writing, Communication studies and History. “Why is mango sticky rice only available in summer?” This might be a question that Business Writing students ask, Because this major is to learn how to write purposeful articles and convey relevant information to readers in a clear and effective way. This question can help readers understand why the restaurant only offers mango sticky rice in summer. Students of Communication Studies may ask, “How will the waiter deal with the customer’s impatience when the customer is waiting outside for a long time?” This question can help students of this major to understand how stores communicate effectively with customers to ensure that customers receive the best service. The last major is History. “Why is Thai food so popular in America?” This question can help professors understand how Thai food was integrated into American culture, how and when.
Where is this? Sadly they don’t have any more mango sticky rice, but I still want to go.
