A business in my neighborhood is the apple store. I have multiple products from them. These items consists of an iPhone, iPad, a macbook, and AirPods. Ever since I got these products, they hasn’t been a day where I haven’t used them. My phone is literally in my hand 24/7, even while I’m sleeping, I always keep my phone next to my pillow. I think its very interesting how this company created not one, but multiple products that I can’t go a day without. It sound extreme to say that I can’t go a day without it, but I’ve gotten so used to having it with me everyday to a point where these products are like an addiction. If I know its around me and I know I have access to it at anytime I want to use it, I’ll be fine. However, if I leave my phone at home or it breaks and I don’t have access to it anymore, it feels like a part of me is missing.
The incorporation of Apple has forever changed the lives of many. Everywhere you look, it seems that people has their head buried in their iPhone and their AirPods in the ears, myself included. Its crazy to think how years ago people didn’t have any of this technology and were perfectly fine with it, however, now it seems like a cell phone is the one thing people can’t live without. Back in the day, people used to write each other letters and send physical invitations to celebrations. In the modern age, all and every type of communication is just a text, a call, or a FaceTime away. Communication is made easier. Directions are made easier. Capturing moments through photos and and videos are made easier. Apple products has made our day to day life so much easier and more comfortable to the point where we, as a society, has gotten extremely used to that comfort that we feel as if a part of us is missing when we don’t have access to it anymore.
