I Have No IdeaThe More You Know

First thing I want to shout out the teachers that actually posted useful material on Blackboard. You guys are the realest teachers in the game.  Since I’m not a reliable note taker it is not particularly good that most tests are completely based off of what is spoken in class so having the lectures to relay on is awesome.  Another thing that I’ve noticed this semester is how tired I would be getting during some classes especially during a certain class at 2:30 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. However, it is somewhat easy so I do not mind it being boring. Now with the semester coming to a close and a new one coming around the corner, I plan on changing a few habits. Knowing how I am though that probably won’t happen but I’ll give it my best shot. Struggle pizza is life. RNS. HNIC.

Monologue

Oh high school. That’s what I miss the most and I am reminded of how much I miss it every single day. Life was so much simpler. Wake up at the same time every day. Arrive at school at the same time everyday. Say whats up to every teacher the same way everyday. Go to work at 1:25 everyday. Things were so predictable and usually there wasn’t a random event that would disrupt that order. I miss being so close with my teachers that I would call them in a first name basis. My high school was very small so the best part was that you literally knew every one in the building. I miss my lunch table that I had for all four years in McClancy and the people that were in it. From playing Fun Run in Accounting during a test to having no clue what to do when I was called up to the board in AP Calculus, there wasn’t much that I didn’t enjoy during my time in high school. Regardless, now I am here in college and I’m going to just have to deal with it.

I’m from Ecuador in South America. I am proud of where I come from and this is probably one of the most important things to know about me.

Antonio Valencia Antonio Valencia of Ecuador attacks during the International Friendly match between The Netherlands and Ecuador at The Amsterdam Arena on May 17, 2014 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Being that I’m Hispanic, it sort of implies that my favorite sport is soccer. It is one of my biggest passions of my life. When Ecuador was knocked out of the World Cup this summer, I was devastated.

This is Pier 40. You can usually find me here at least once a week playing soccer with my friends. Playing soccer is my biggest way to get my mind off of things.

I live in Astoria, Queens. This is a typical picture from “The Strip” in Astoria Park. I’ve lived here my whole life and I like it a lot actually.

Monsignor McClancy is my old high school. I had a blast and I believe I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I didn’t go there. Luckily it was not far from where I live so that helped my liking high school as well.

This is a picture of the old airport in Quito, Ecuador. I like to travel a lot and I loved going back to Ecuador every summer. I loved being there since it was definitely something different from New York City.

This is a picture of one of the biggest stadium in Ecuador. I would always go there during the summer to see my favorite team play or the Ecuadorian National Team play. Going to see soccer games live is one of my favorite past times.

Galak is my favorite chocolate ever. It was always something that my grandmother or relatives would send me from Ecuador. It reminds me of the good times I’ve had while being there.
