My first semester at Baruch has been great. I have been able to do well in most of my classes, make friends, and join many clubs. I am already the Chair of Graphics and Advertising for ALPFA, Head of Marketing for Roteract, part of the Campus Affairs Committee in the Undergraduate Student Government, and starting next semester I will be the Director of Photography for Lexicon and Vice Chair for the Arts Committee in the Undergraduate Student Government. I also work for Baruch Undergraduate Admissions as the Social Media Ambassador. To say the least, I am busy. But I have learned that time management is very important and I have been able to balance sleep, school, friends, and activities pretty well. I have already been exposed to many awesome opportunities and I am exited to see what will come in the future semesters. I am very organized and with all of the responsibilities I have, I am pretty good at keeping track of everything. But I have gotten so used to always being active and doing something, when I have those days that I don’t have anything to do, I feel very weird and suspicious like the character in my meme. Free time in college to me is weird, because I have gotten so used to always doing something, if I have nothing to do, I will find something to keep me occupied. For example, I am so exited for this semester to be over, but at the same time I have gotten used to such a busy life style of waking up at 5am to get to my 8am class in the city and getting home at 9pm and starting over again that I don’t really know what I will do to take up my free time during the break. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see…
