Enrichment Workshop 2 :Student Life

Last Thursday I attended the club fair. I have been to all the club fairs this semester however this one was different than the rest. This club fair was not spread throughout the school this time it was in the Gym. Which was a easier to find all the clubs that I missed last time. However with the amount of people crowded around it became difficult to navigate. Besides the difficult parts it was a fun event to attend. The vibe of the event was nice. The amount of culture clubs that are here was surprising to me. In my old school they had little to no clubs so this was a culture shock. I quite enjoyed the food aspect of the club fairs again. I can not tell you the name of the food or what it consisted of only that it tasted good. An interesting but slightly terrifying thing that happened to me was being recruited by the step team. It started off fine but ended with me being surrounded by a wall of tall, large men. Although the club seemed interesting there was others I like more. For example the Caribbean, Soca, and West Indian club. A club I was surprised to see was the Archery club. I was able to hold a bow and arrow for the first time. As soon as I walked in I found the club I’ve been looking for since school started, The Grid. Before I left I saw this stand that looked interesting. It was like a tiki hut and I went to it to see what it was about. I saw that it was for registering to vote. I thought it was an cool way to display such an important thing. I would have gone and done it since I haven’t done so yet. But I decided to wait until I have the time to spare. That fair was fun and informative
