The satirical voice of Desus captures the projected feelings of Trump’s opposition, wording tweets (specifically the one attached) that shows the mindset of the current President of the United States. In this tweet he mocks how Trump tweeted about media (CNN) lying about the turnout of his inauguration. Desus’s rhetoric is to match that of Trump’s by comparing “dancers” from the Super Bowl to audience members of his inauguration. This comparison brings out the whining/child-like tantrum of Trump. By matching the rhetoric, the emphasis of the ridiculousness of Trump’s statements truly come out, though his statements by themselves don’t have much trouble doing so alone. This holds power because there’s a core truth of the unfit attitude/nature Trump has being the President, as the people don’t agree with such demeanor in the person leading the Free World.
