As Professor Richie-Babbage mentioned, Ben & Jerry’s is a for-profit company that successfully manages to promote the greater good of the communities it serves while earning a sizeable profit. In fact, the more involved the company is in the community, the more money they make.

Ben & Jerry’s has been a B Corp since 2012. Interesting to see how they frame it (link below), “a new type of corporation that uses the power of business to solve social and environmental problems.”
