Paper

Overview

In this paper, you will put one of the theories [of education, school, person-hood, or man] that we have read about in conversation with one of the literary texts on the syllabus.   You will make a well thought-out claim about how some aspect of the literary text reflects, supports and/or challenges some part of the theory.   You will illustrate your claim using close reading-based analysis of specific portions of the literary text.

This paper is the only paper due for this class.  There are however many pre-draft exercises designed to help you plan ahead, revise, and get feedback along the way.  Click any of the links below to learn more  about the individual exercises.
