Grading Final Project

Your Individual Project Grade:

  • Group Grade (60%)
  • Group Evaluation Sheet Grade (20%)
  • Self Reflection Sheet Grade (20%) :

The Group Grade for the Final Project is Based On: 

  • Timely Completion(10%)
  • Includes appropriate documentation of the project (30%)
  • Strength of the project write up (60%) :

The Grade for the Project Write Up Will be Based on the Following Rubrics:

A Failing Project [F] will:

will be an incomplete project in which some parts of the write-up requirements have not been included

will have inaccurate or missing citation information.

A Passing Project  (D-C) will:

Include a discussion of the theory, the what, the audience, the objectives, the methodology and rationale, results, and reflections and be accurate and thorough with its citations.

A Good Project  (C-B) will:

Include a discussion of the theory, the what, the audience, the objectives, the methodology and rationale, results, and reflections and be accurate and thorough with its citations.

AND

Contain minimal grammar and spelling errors.

Be cohesive (ie.  The write up will articulate objectives which reflect and make sense in light of the group’s stated theories, and it will articulate methods which reflect and make sense in light of the group’s stated objectives).

An Excellent Project (B – A) will: 

Include a discussion of the theory, the what, the audience, the objectives, the methodology and rationale, results, and reflections and be accurate and thorough with its citations.

AND

Contain minimal grammar and spelling errors.

Be cohesive (ie.  The write up will articulate objectives which reflect and make sense in light of the group’s stated theories, and it will articulate methods which reflect and make sense in light of the group’s stated objectives.

AND

Be compellingly written.

Include a thoughtful reflection that engages both personal beliefs and the materials and ideas discussed in the course.
