Each group will have 10 minutes to present their project on the last day of the semester. The presentation is part of your project grade.
Each presentation must include:
1) some visual component,
2) a discussion of the what, the objectives for the what, and the theory behind the what.
3) Where helpful and possible, you might also discuss the methodology and results.
Note: The presentations happen at least a week before the project is due, so you can use the presentation as a time to test get feedback on certain parts of your project or explanation of it.
Presentation Grade
Group Grade: (#1-4 are each worth one letter grade. If you do all 4, you’ll get an A-. If you also do #5, you can get an A or A+ depending on the quality of the presentation).
1) Your presentation included visuals
2) Discussion of the what
3) Discussion of the objectives
4) Discussion of the theory behind it
5) Whether your discussion of 2-4 engages any of the course materials.
Individual Grade (Each individual will receive their group grade, but for each of the below you do not uphold, I will subtract a letter grade from the group grade. Whatever grade is left after I finish any necessary subtractions will be your individual grade.
- You were present on presentation day
- You participated in your group presentation
- You were actively engaging the other presentations
