very bad and abused him he learned a lesson about a real life, as the book mentions that “Because for all he abused me, the blind sinner had taught me a great many things, and that among them.” (33). In my humble opinion, I would say that  Even though his previous master (blind man ) taught him many dirty tricks, forcing him stealing food from other people in order to survive, but his master did not give him any food, eat everything. When the Lazarillo was dying for food and was hunger, his master locked whatever left after he eats. His blind master abused him not giving him food. Basically, he learned how to steal food from people for his master and at the same time, he also learned how to survive himself by stealing food from his master. As a result, the priest employed him and he got job based on his previous experiences from his blind master. Therefore, it proves that he realized about real life although at some point he had a hard time with his blind master and found himself as better position by working with the priest later.

Moreover, When Lazarrillo escaped from the blind men, he had a new master that he knew how to survive himself because he learned from his blind master even though he did not help him financially. As the book mentions that “Silver and gold have I none, but I can give you plenty of good tips on how to get along. And it was true. For after God it was he who gave me life, and though he was blind himself he lighted up things for me and guided me along in way of the world.”(13). the blind master did not give money, good, silver of food, but he gave him many tricks how to go along and go forward in the future. He is the only person who saved his life. When the Lazarillo was hungry and dying for food no body helped him except his blind master although it wasn’t enough for him. At least he had a little portion amount of it, that something is

better than nothing. He was able to survive go along his later life himself when he hired by priest and he was benefited from it in his real life. So, based on previous experiences, he was able to realize his real life. At least he got job by priest and learned to survive himself.

In addition, the sensuous women fell ashamed and sorrowed for herself having bad relationship with a lot of men after enjoying her life with them in the early life. Sometime, people forget that everything has a limitation and they often cross their limitation. At a certain point, they realize it and fell ashamed and become afraid. According to the reading, “I began to grow frightened of myself. With this single body of mine I’d slept with more than ten thousand men” (610). In her case, it reminds me that she was a very young beautiful woman, liked fancy sex and often changed men. She remembered her present position rather than thinking the future and cried very hard, going to the temple for praying. She said that “As I did, I suddenly realized the most important thing there is to know in life.” therefore, I would say that she learned from her mistake what she had done and realized that this is not a real life and she purified he soul by changing her ending the reading and learned about real life and became hero.

Finally, even though we met a number of “trickster” based on two reading, the life of Lazarillo de Tormes, and Life of a sensuous woman,  the authors make them heroes because they have overall qualities such as maturities, gained a lot of experiences, knowledge and able to distinguish between real and imaginary lives.  A person who is pleasured for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. I would say the Lazarillo has overall quality such as able to face difficulties, pain and danger without fear. Although he is a little child learned from his previous master how to deal with those problems and he did and that makes him heroes.

On the other hand the sensuous woman able to face with pain and achieved many things that she did not face before. Even though she enjoys with so many men, she also got pain many circumstances such as she became a temporary wife of a man that is also painful for her and at the same she learned how to become “elegant” and refined ways of aristocrats. Those novel qualities and achievement makes her heroic.   There are very much similarities is both reading based on different perspectives and they are the main heroes in those reading.
