Did you know that individuals who attend job search groups find positions 4X faster than those who don’t?

This summer will include two rounds of the program in a 4-week, 90-minute session format to take place on Wednesdays from 11:00-12:30 in Room 2-190.

Upcoming Workshop: Week of June 2

Making the Most of Your Internship

Wednesday, June 4, 2014 1:00 pm – 2:30pm

2-190 NVC

In this seminar students will learn important tips on how to make the most of an internship. Many internship opportunities afford the possibility of leading to a full-time position. This of course depends on the company’s needs and most importantly is based on the intern’s performance. Find out about ways to stand out positively in an internship; learn the steps involved in establishing a good rapport with your supervisor; discover what NOT to do when interning; and more!

**Please note this workshop does not help you obtain an internship, it is going to provide tips to help you make the most of an internship once you land one!**

Please make sure to RSVP on STARR Search to guarantee a seat!

Good luck on Finals and Congratulations Graduates!

Max Berger Pre-law Unpaid Internship Stipend Fellowship Program

Application Now Available!
DEADLINE MAY 6, 2014

The Max Berger Pre Law Unpaid Internship Stipend Fellowship Program provides financial assistance to undergraduate students who complete an unpaid legal internship with a public sector (i.e. government or non-profit) legal employer during the summer, while encouraging them to develop their professional and educational goals through programs offered by the Max Berger Pre Law Program at Baruch College.

A legal internship provides valuable experience and is an important stepping stone to allowing an undergraduate student decide whether pursuing a graduate level legal education is the right choice for them. However, internships are often unpaid, which can be a significant hurdle for students who already are stretched financially. The Max Berger Pre Law Unpaid Internship Stipend Fellowship Program generously offers a $2,000 stipend to help students overcome the financial hurdle of an unpaid legal internship.

The Max Berger Pre Law Unpaid Internship Stipend Fellowship Program focuses on the legal careers, and the program supports students who want to pursue a legal internship in an effort to make smart career and educational choices.
