My 3D Product. (Detachable Treadmill)
I would like to explain to you what is the problem that I think is affecting this person, which is one of my best friends called Pablo. As I realize that this is a real problem and not a simple hobby. My friend in this time of pandemic texted me a lot about how to stay in shape from his house since he was afraid to go out. He wanted me to give him advice on ways to do exercises to do at home, whether I sent him videos or articles to get a better understanding of the subject. One time I asked him to meet up to speak personally and that is where I realized that he was overweight, and he told me that he was very depressed about everything he was experiencing. The main problem was that he did not want to go to a gym for fear that in that place he could be infected with the virus, but on the other hand he wanted to exercise for his health. I advised him to buy a treadmill and use it at home, but the problem was that he had no space unless it was removable. We were looking through online stores and we did not find a product of that form that is detachable. I think this idea came to my mind to create something this innovative due to the need that my friend suffered. I made a prototype and created a 3D design to have the shape and model of a treadmill and to be disassembled. This idea will help many people who cannot leave the house to do some physical activity outside, they have this advantage of doing cardio on a detachable machine. It will also help people who do not have much space in the house or apartment and who want to use the treadmill and then store it in a box.
Great design and thinking about your friend was something I could relate to specially in the beginning of the pandemic not being motivated to exercise at home. As well as not having space for any equipment given that many of us live in small apartments. I personally went with the decision to run outside this was a very fun activity and in the early morning no one is out, so it is safe.
I really like this product because it could be used for different reasons as well. A lot of people would love to have this because not only do they not have space to keep their treadmills but treadmills aren’t really appealing unless they are placed in a gym. Being able to pack this up and put it away would be great for people who want to workout and not have to make that space look tacky.
you chose a really good problem because as someone who loves exercise I can see this problem as valid. not only are you solving his safety concern, but you are also solving his need to improve his body and work out.
