I segmented my petal diagram into 5 segments:
Virtual therapy for students
Student mental health
Guided meditations
Digital mood-tracking
College provided resources
From my research into the market, I’ve noticed apps within the virtual mental health industry fall into 4 of these categories. I added college provided resources specifically for Baruch students, as I still consider that a competitor. Many college campuses offer on campus services similar to Baruch’s counselling centre, and due to the affordability and accessibility, it is some student’s first introduction into mental health assistance. The market seems saturated with virtual options for students. There are 5 top finds when googling key words such as “meditation for college students” or “therapy for college students” that dominate the market. Whether or not I can imitate or do it better is becoming more of a realisation. Possibly pivoting to a community centre approach to mental health resources may be of more value to Baruch students, if classes were to go back fully in person.
Very nice! And a new name will be cool for MVP testing.
Nice diagram sunrise
