Response to Group Presentation

#AntiSivilized

As you guys said, Huck doesn’t like doing what everyone else is doing, he likes doing this on his own ways. Huck calling his raft a home is odd and I think you guys did a great job showing why this hashtag is appropriate. Also like how u explained why u guys spelt out your hashtag the way it is.

#iDontGiveAHuck

Creative hashtag, I think the hashtag itself is great. You guys are definitely right about how there are many instances in the novel where social norms are broken. Huck helping Jim is already an anomaly because it’s a white man helping a runaway slave and also he’s just a kid. Great use of the whiteboard, putting up the quotes for us to read was great.

#illGotoHell

This theme does show many climaxes throughout the book and it is does reoccur many times. I think the use of chapter 16 was a great idea because after the two men went away, Huck has an inner turmoil of whether he did the right thing. He tells himself though he did the wrong thing, if he has done the right he still would feel exactly the same.

#MorallyRich

I think this is a great hashtag because like you guys said; money is a reoccurring theme in this novel. There are two types of character, those who favor money over morality and those who feel morality is more important. You guys used great examples as evidence to show why this hashtag works.
