Journal #13, Personal entry #8

A high school teacher once told me, good writing is rewriting. Despite how painful it sounds to have your brain scorn another layer of creativity to find a way to express your thoughts about our topic, I think that teacher’s proverb is pretty useful. The process of having our peer review our papers before the professor gives us another chance to fix somethings that aren’t even apparent when you reviese it yourself to help us to achieve the ultimate goal of this class, becoming better writers.

My peer reviwer bought to light having flaws of not connecting vigiliantism impact on Huck. I should include Huck’s minor role of becoming a vigilanty by not turning Jim in. My thesis wraps on the idea of almost every character becoming a vigilanty for their self-interest. However, most characters are just criminals and aren’t taking matters into their own hand for justice. I can also improve the size of my sentences. Writing like how you speak has it’s limitations. Pauses don’t always co-relate to where a period should be implemented. Most of the issues seem minor to me. My peer reviewer and I agree structually the essay is sound.
