Where would you like to go in the world and stay for a year? Why?
Ever since I was a little girl, I had a huge interest in both Korean and Japanese culture. Korean music fascinates me while anime, a form of Japanese film fascinate me as well. If I had to choose between Japan and South Korea, nowadays my answer would be Japan. This is because I am currently self-studying Japanese and would love to put my Japanese skills to the test. The people are also very polite, my uncle went on vacation there with many good things to say about Japan so I would like to be able to stay there for a year and learn more about their culture and language.

The capital, Tokyo is always crowded and everyone is always rushing around. The city itself is futuristic with vending machines that dispense nearly everything you can think of, from food to necessities. Osaka is somewhere else I am interested in visiting because of my boyfriend.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
Shoshana, a transfer student to Baruch. We discussed what superpower we would like, and we both agreed on teleportation as our chosen superpower because it would be easier to arrive at our desired destination without having to worry about the weather or being late.

Down below is the opening to an anime called Demon Slayer, one of my favorite animes although many say its overrated but I still enjoy it because of all the backstory the manga provides.
I like that you added pictures and a video and I’m really curious about the music you liked since you didn’t mention any artist/group.
Demonslayer may be overrated but its animation is outstanding, I can’t wait for the next season, it’s going to be so dope.
I’m dying to go to Japan. I became interested in anime when I was in middle school, and it definitely made me want to learn more about Japan and the culture. I always feel great when I can understand a word without subtitles. demon slayer is awesome unfortunately my manga reading friends spoiled a lot for me. but I’m happy we have similar interest.
Glad to see people with the same interest, also I think the Japanese minor might be a good fit for you.
