Memories of Meals Past- Christopher Peralta

The best type of food is where it is at a affordable rate while also filling you up for the day, one food comes to mind is maruchan soup. I am pretty sure one pack is worth 50 cents. In today’s word especially in New York, it is rare to see food that is less than 5 bucks. I remember when I was young and walking the supermarket halls and always see the 6 pack cup on the bottom shelf. My mother would always get it. Many years pasted by and till this day eat this before a long day.

  1. I have a similar experience with this food. It’s affordable, easy to make, and tastes good. I still buy and eat this to this day.

  2. KEVIN GARCIA says:

I also have experienced this very similar thing because my mom would also get this pack and its very good and once in a while ill eat it.

  3. Steven Ma says:

I have never tried this before, by the cover it said instant lunch and it’s a soup? Also, about your saying about food “It is best when it is affordable and filling”. I concur with that statement, with everything that is happening right now, not a lot of food has aspects of being affordable and filling at the same time anymore.

  4. this is so relatable. my mom would say it;s unhealthy but it’s like childhood memories of eating this. it does taste really good

  5. No disrespect to you, Christopher, but this type of ramen slaps you when you’re hungry for some good ramen. I can give you some suggestions, but my childhood noodles are 泡面 I’m not sure if that’s how you type it, but they are noodles with soy sauce, peanut butter, and scallion.

  6. I like the ramen idea because I have such a good relationship with ramen which makes me happy reading this. What is your favorite cup ramen ? Do you still eat it to this day? The post connects to my identity because thanks to ramen I have so many memories with mother about it.

  7. I relate to what you’re saying about ramen and how it was affordable and was able to fill you up after eating a couple of packs. It was just a great struggle food to have when you had nothing.
