Harvey Wacht ’67 reports that EOC sponsored its fall program, Mentor for a Morning, at Baruch on November 30th. The program provides an opportunity to have executives and professionals mentor all Baruch students (both undergraduate & graduate) one-on-one for three 45-minute sessions. Students have a dialogue to help them develop networking skills and ideas to assist their career development goals. Mentors have the opportunity to give back to Baruch by sharing their knowledge, experience and insight.
The next Mentor for a Morning program is scheduled for the morning of March 15th. We welcome other alumni (including more recent grads) and professionals to join our mentor team and to meet the needs of helping additional students. The experience is extremely rewarding and totally enjoyable. My involvement in Mentor for a Morning is a most worthwhile experience.
