I feel what I felt when I first came to this college, I don’t know what to do in the future, I don’t know what I’m going to major specifically, and I don’t even know what to do with the classes of next semester.
I thought I could have scheduled out my plan after the first semester, but I was wrong. Everything changed, but I was still me after three month of my college life.
Therefore, I went to the career center to see if they could helped me out. When I got there, I found a seat and sat there for 10 minutes. I watched them (staffs and instructors and students) busy walking around and making their plans, telling people what to do and what not to do, and finally one of the instructor saw me. He came to me and asked a few questions about my future plans, then he started to introduce the pros and cons about your future depended on the choices you made. For instance, if you picked a high paid major (for example business) but you didn’t like it much, or you felt exhausted after you got a job, it was obvious that you could have picked something you liked or something better because that was the main point of a real career. People really needed to spent time on planning their future because it was too important.
After all, I think the instructor was right, all his words were meaningful because Lebron James would have gone playing volley ball if he was not that into basketball. We had many choices, but only a few of the them were the right for us. Career was important, but at the same time, you could have made it into something you love so you would have enjoyed it.
