I attended a meeting for the baruch Investment management group and was hopping for experience as an investment banker. However the first thing that turned me off was the size of the meeting. It was so packed that they kicked out anyone not sitting in a chair. Then they said how rare it was actually being accepted in the group, and this includes people with a vast knowledge of financial investing. I had no idea what I was doing. I stayed and asked questions in order to be polite but ultimately I decided not to join this semester until I have some more knowledge on the topic
