My last blog post in on Career. And what better place to get advice on campus on your career ,and starting off right , then Starr Career Development Centre. I attended one of their workshops this week. It was all about resumes. Sometimes resumes get neglected but we should never forget how important they are in making a good first impression on your hopefully future employee.

I never bothered having a polished resume until I started college at Baruch and one was required of me for a job in campus. After creating a rough draft of my qualities and past work experiences I felt it was missing something. So, I headed to STARR to get some help in perfecting my resume. It was perfect timing that they were actually holding a workshop on writing resumes that week so I jumped at the opportunity and attended it.

It was honestly time well spent.Not only did we get so much information but also helpful tips for future job opportunities. Now I finally have a resume that I am proud of.
