Theogony Hesiod Analysis

“With their divine voices they first sing the glory of the sublime race of the gods from the beginning,  the children born to Gaia and  vast  Ouranos and of their offspring, the gods who give blessings.” Zues’ daughters sing of their father and other gods. Their songs act as historical reflection which reveal the interconnected relationship between the many gods. Each god has contributed or is attributed to something significant in life. Each rules over a specific region and has distinct power. It is interesting how the creation of one god spiraled into the existence of many.
