One History, Different Memmories

David Blight’s book does seem interesting to me because it expand my knowledge about Reconstruction and the attitude of the people during that time period. This book  might appeal to history professors and teachers. Students would also benefit from reading this book because we might get more of a sense of what it would have been like to be part of that particular time period.

It seems that Eric Foner likes the book because he continuosly compliments the book throughout the article and writes about all of the great points of the book.  The book review tells us that histrical memmory is important because there are so many different ways people remember something, and to truly undersstand history we have to examine all of the memmories from that time period.
