On April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold executed a murdering spree at their high school in Columbine, Colorado. They took the lives of 12 other students, a teacher, and then the lives of their own. This brought a wide spread controversy on gun control and the bi-product of troubled youth it produced. It was a very scary time, and the blame was pointed every which way. I was in high school at this time. After this happened, there were uniforms, metal detectors, clear backpacks, and no trench coats were allowed to be worn. School became a prison.
A right to bear arms… no matter what size.
