Four Freedoms

President Franklin D. Roosevelt expressed four freedoms that should serve as a foundation not only for the U.S. but for the world: the four freedoms- Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom from Want, and Freedom from Fear. following this speech they posted the four famous posters created by Norman Rockwell that visualized — everyday American life — Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms.

Norman Rockwell was a famous painter in the 1900’s, the four freedoms are expressed as recognizable situations like ordinary people giving a speech at a town meeting. his goal was to portray images of small town life to rally Americans to the war effort.
