This song is quite different from the song I posted for the 1960s, called “Its hard to believe it” by Glenda Collins.  The 1960s song refers to freedom as being peaceful and anti-war. This song that I have posted by Akon talks about different types of freedom from recent times. This song is more focused on freedom from misery and pain. Society today has a different perspective of freedom than that of the 1960s.
