Alright, you Final Two, it’s time to see which one of you is the true literary embodiment of The Enlightenment! I give you the day to gather your minds as you think over the answer to the riddle I’m about to provide you with. Furthermore, I’m setting up a database for you, where you’re asked to input any and all clues and observations you deem important – we want our Viewers at home to have a chance to solve the riddle too! Come tomorrow, you’ll each be granted a short interview with me where you’ll be given the chance to ask me five questions. These questions can be anything, and I promise to answer as fully and truthfully as I can! After the fifth question, you’ll be prompted to solve the riddle. You have one chance, HouseAuthors. Make me and the Enlightened Realm proud of you!
Here’s your riddle…
The Final Two have found their clue, viewers! Would you like to know what they found?
Will the Final Three choose to get rid of one of their own in return for a clue that may help them solve the game? Or will they risk the clue in order to give everyone a fair chance??
A very special congratulations, HouseAuthors! You are the final three! You’ve debated and battled it out against seven other formidable opponents, and have shown yourselves to be the best authors of the Enlightenment! While you three have all shown considerable strength and talent, alas, only one of you can win!
This final set of challenges will be slightly modified, and will force you to draw on every literary power you have as we race to a fantastic conclusion. In order to win this game, you must solve a difficult riddle that relates to your time in the House. This riddle can be solved based on your own thoughts and observations, but also through clues that you have either already obtained, or may win this week through challenges. But beware, some of these clues may lead you down the wrong path!
Since this is our finale, we’re going to ramp up the excitement right away, by offering you the chance to earn a very valuable clue this instant! In the garden is a locked box containing a major clue for you. In order to open the box, however, you must agree to vote out one of your own. This is not mandatory, so if the three of you can’t decide on who to eliminate, you’ll simply continue on with the game without that clue.
This opportunity won’t last forever! If you do decide to access the clue, you must vote someone out in the next hour! Good luck!
This is no longer a simple game. Christina’s [REDACTED] has shook me to me core, and I can no longer lounge around waiting for [REDACTED] to be over. We must [REDACTED].
I saw her [REDACTED] right before me, well, as best I could given the [REDACTED]. I saw her [REDACTED] and I couldn’t [REDACTED], and now it’s far too late to tell her wh- No! There’s no time for this! How the hell do we [REDACTED]?!
*Dear Viewers, Mr. Baudelaire’s Diary Entry has been slightly modified to remove any and all outbursts of profanity and unpleasant remarks. They were no doubt due to his shock of watching Ms. Rossetti breakdown yesterday, but I assure you everything which was removed was entirely baseless and nonsensical. He simply regrets not having finished the debate, and plans to push on and win the game!
