This article is referencing a non-profit organization in Phoenix building homes for homeless families. This article made me think about what I believe non-profits to be. As discussed in class, non-profit organizations are corporations that exist for a purpose. The mission of Build Us HOPE is to improve the lives of those living in a small town of Phoenix by providing resources and housing. Their efforts to improve vulnerable populations have been proven in Texas and now in Phoenix. They are “tiny homes” built, in hopes of creating tight knit communities.
