“Why Your Nonprofit Needs Skills-Based Volunteers”; this article makes me think about the importance of different stakeholders. I often think about those in a leadership role making or controlling change. I think in all actuality, it is volunteers or frontline staff that is really the backbones of organizations. Within my role as a coordinator, my VP always expresses my importance within the department and explains that without the coordinators a lot of things would fall apart.
