The Boards play a major role of a non-profit. The Boards are trustees who direct the organization towards a viable future by ensuring that nonprofit has sufficient resources to develop its mission. In today’s day, Boards are essential to the health of a nonprofit organization due to the fact that they keep their organizations focus on a clearly articulated goal. Effective boards construct a strategic plan for the organization to ensure that they are achieving established objectives. The boards approve the organization‘s budget and ensure that proper strategies are implemented to comeback any changes. As a result, Board members are crucial in a non-profit organization because they help raise funds and perform other implementation tasks in areas where the organization and its staff lack resources or expertise.
