WINTER CELEBRATION @ CONNETQUOT STATE PARK RESERVE.

On February 20th, at the Connetquot State Park Reserve, in Oakdale NY had an event called Winter Celebration.  This event brought family members together of various age groups.  The following photos showed the various activities that took place.  There were several activities taken place inside of the main building, and examples of  activities– were making borax ornaments, making snow using paper, and also ice fishing. Both children and parents gathered around and partook in the activities.

Outside there were persons showing the different types of ducks through binoculars, which was exciting to children.  The highlight of the day was seeing children embracing nature.

  1. Great work Jacqueline.
What I liked most about this piece was the amount of kids involved in so many outdoor activities. You can see the amount of emotion being expressed in each photograph allowing the viewer to really get a grasp of environment you were in.
Im looking forward to your future work!
