About the Positions
Campaign Associate
The core leaders of our operation, Campaign Associates work longer and more intensive hours than Interns, thus assuming greater responsibility. Individuals applying for this position must be prepared to make a more significant time commitment, but will gain experience in wider range of fields.   
   
Responsibilities include but not are not limited to:
– Fundraising, both high and medium level donors
– Intensive Social media engagement
– Managing and training new interns
– Writing articles and blogs for website 
– Press and donor research
– Supporter outreach  
– Data collection, organization and analysis
– Minimum commitment of 15-20 hours a week
Previous related experience is prefered, but not required. All majors and grade levels are encouraged to apply. Applications are processed on a rolling basis.
Campaign Associates receive a stipend as compensation for their work. 
 
 
Internship
The backbone of our team, Interns work shorter hours and take on less responsibility than Campaign Associates, but play a no less critical role in our efforts. Internships are ideal for students with busy schedules who can’t commit quite as much time, but still want to be on the frontlines of the anti-Trump movement.
 
Responsibilities include but not are not limited to:
– Fundraising, both medium and low level donors
– Social media engagement
– Press and donor research
– Supporter recruitment  
– Data analysis
– Minimum committment of 5-10 hours a week
 
Previous related experience is prefered, but not required. All majors and grade levels are encouraged to apply. Applications are processed on a rolling basis. 
 
Interns receive a stipend as compensation for their work.

Two available internship positions

  1. Queens Borough President Melinda Katz is accepting applications for the spring semester. The internship will provide an invaluable hands-on experience in the Borough President’s office with a greater understanding of municipal government. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, conducting research, responding to constituent inquiries and assisting department heads with projects. Students must be able to work a minimum of 8 to 10 hours per week. This internship is non-paid, but we are willing to work with universities to obtain credit.
    Qualified applicants will possess a professional and courteous demeanor, excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task. This is an excellent opportunity for college students seeking government experience. All majors are encouraged to apply. Queens residents are preferred, but not required.
