Influence reply

This is in response to Farzana Manjra post called Influence thinking.  I agree with the point she brought up which was that kids are taught what the elders teach them and what they see is what they think is right. With most knowledge that is taught we assume that the information is correct from elders who approved what was accurate and what was not, it isn’t until one gets older that they question there teaching and even that is something that a person can only do if they realize that information on particular things can be up for debate or interpretation. With topics like math, science , and other forms or education that is based on theory is is safe to say those things are correct since its knowledge based on formula but other topics like English, philosophy they can be debated because from where you learn it, it might be from a different perspective or approach that the author personally feels is correct and was approved by others to either be publicized or shared by others . “Each age, it is found,  must write its own books ; or rather each generation for the next succeeding. This book of an older period will not fit this. “. Ralph Emerson point made a point there that I feel that is correct because it is true that information taught and passed do have elements from the time and space in which the information was written and along with information we are passing along ideas whether its philosophical or historic information that we feel is correct but in a different time might not apply the same.
