1. I believe that we are more motivated to vote in this election. This is because we are going to be most impacted by the outcomes. Although are parents are going to be affected, we are the ones coming into the workforce, higher education, parenthood, etc. The next president and all the laws and changes that are done, affect us in a very direct and personal way, and if we don’t vote, we are giving the government the chance to mess up our future, whether we realize it or not.
2. My opinion on the government using military tactics, is that they are doing it the wrong way. They are using the military to instill fear into people rather than show them that they are for protection. When it comes to the current governmental administration dispensing the military to infringe our rights, such as the right to protest, that is unacceptable. It’s not practical at all because the military should not be used for such acts unless it is an absolute necessity
3. The most conflicting issue today is the issue of race and ethnicity. Our current government however, is not the right one to solve this issue. In fact, it is because of this administration that the issue of race and ethnicity has become so important. They have increasingly made race and ethnicity the forefront in their choices. This is an unfortunate thing because people should not be ridiculed or discriminated against because of their race/ethnicity. What the government should be doing though, is working to eliminate that prejudice that America has had since its founding. It needs to get rid of the past and begin a new road where there is no such thing as privilege or superiority based on a person race/ethnicity.

1. I believe we are motivated to vote for this upcoming election because we want
change. The United States is nothing like it used to be with all the racial injustice
and COVID-19. We’re motivated to vote because we want a leader that can
implement change in the United States. We want someone to take control of the
chaos that is going on across the country. The United States is in desperate
need for unification now. We’re voting because we want our lives to be normal
again.
2. I believe that the government is abusing the military tactics. For example earlier
this year the Trump Administration used the United States military to kill a
terrorist. Not only did the military put their lives on the line but the killing of the
terrorist wasn’t necessary. Secondly, the Trump Administration is not even
allowing the military to come home because of pandemic. In addition, if the
soldiers come home our President is afraid he will be voted out of office.
3. The most conflicting issue today is police brutality across the United States. This past
summer we saw the biggest protest for George Floyd who was a black man killed by
white police officers. This issue brought attention to racial injustice and white privilege.
I agree with Karina where she says that our generation is the most affected by the election’s outcomes. We are becoming adults throughout these next four years. Every aspect that happens in society alters the way our lives will be as a whole.
