Kemara Gopeesingh- Week 12

One takeaway that I had from the recent election, and its results was constantly checking the internet and watching the news for who won what states. It was very intense, for the fact that my family and I thought Trump will do everything in his power to rig the election like he did four years ago, but luckily he tried and failed. Another thing was that, when Trump saw Biden in the lead he wanted a recount in Georgia, and he also said that he would fight the outcome. This goes to show that Trump will not take defeat, nor will he be respectful towards his opponents. Once my sister and I found out that Joe Biden won the election the morning of, we couldn’t stop smiling. No, Joe Biden isn’t the perfect president, but we know that he will do more for the people than the economy.
