The Man Who Had a Dream… by chifai.yuen Posted on September 6, 2010 Martin Luther King Jr. made a 10 minute public speech in which he called for racial equality and an end to discrimination. He delivered it on August 28, 1963 from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial . The speech was ranked the top speech of the 20th century by a 1999 poll of scholars .
