This video is a 1920’s anti-alcohol commercial fueled by prohibition. It depicts a priest condemning alcohol, claiming it is evil and allows men to pray on the flower of American women. I find this whole thing rather revolting while simultaneously hilarious because not only did this movement fail in the worst possible sense, but it also foreshadowed our failed war on drugs.
