This propaganda poster was made to inform women that fighting for their country will not only help America and war effort, but it would also help gain support for women’s rights.  The artist of this poster wanted to get more women involved into armed forces and in wartime production industries. Additionally, the artist wants American women to participate in war efforts in any form: production, war front, home front, etc.

The artist’s objective was surely achieved in this poster because it helped encourage women to believe the idea that by aiding their country, they would also be helping themselves. In addition, this poster portrays four strong, able women in armed wartime clothing, looking to the side: the future.
