Nazi Book Burnings

This poster produced during WWII categorized the war as a “Good War” for Americans. It’s a “Good War’ because we are fighting for freedom, against oppressive dictatorships.  The Nazis burned books that were against their beliefs and were “un-German”. The author is trying to show that the Nazis are violating peoples rights by comparing them with the U.S. The author uses bold, red text to assert his argument. I think this document is effective at conveying the message that Nazism goes against Americans belief of free speech and equality, and that it is bad.
