A few years ago, we can say there would be no difference because almost all the time NY MTA employees were going on strikes. However, with today’s economy, there is not one person that is capable of striking because our unemployment rate is very high. If these strikes were still in action today, many of our lives would be different. With how busy our own lives are, we rely on others. For example, if the MTA goes on strike again, how would we be able to transport from place to place?
