“Let’s Twist Again,” by Chubby Chucker, other than being catchy, was an innovative song of the 1960s. It showed one of the many freedoms spread across America in the 1960s. This song that allowed people audience to realize that they had the freedom to enjoy life and party, incorporating a dance, the twist, along with the tune.

The audience probably picked up the catchy tune and danced to the Twist, considering the fact that the song had such a positive feedback not only across America, but across England as well. From the present day point of view on this song, I feel like a song like this that promotes celebration and partying caused a domino effect that spurred America’s celebrations.
