For my assignment I am planning to remix the research project that I worked in English class. Euphoria was the the topic I was writing about in my research project. I am arguing how Euphoria isn’t doing any harm to young teenagers who watch the show every Sunday night. I am going to make a powerpoint on visualizing images of euphoria main topics that are talked throughout the show and how it’s not doing any harm by young teenagers viewing the show. My audience would be everyone who thinks Euphoria gives a bad reputation to young teenagers just cause it shows reality scenarios that actually happen in real life. I guess they are trying to hide the scary fact of life in general if that makes sense. Also, I would be explaining each main character their background story and why they act like how they are because there’s specific reasons. I feel like this point of view I am trying to convey to my audience is television can be fun to watch or to learn about important lessons that people learned through their adolescent lives. I am trying to gain more information but easily to understand through the picture I would be uploading in my powerpoint and my audience would know right away what I would like to argue. A lost is images wouldn’t be able to comprehend easily and my audience would have trouble where I am coming from. A biggest challenge is finding enough information on what I am arguing for. My personal motivations for tackling this specific project are having enough details and easy to understand.

- This piece “Untitled” by David Wojnarowicz has rhetorical properties that contributed to its meaning. The image of the boy with wording letters behind him can imagine that this picture should be spoken and heard. Discrimination can be empathize here by telling us that the world should be getting better for juts an individual. It just causes one individual to feel small and everything around them should be improve.
- This piece resonates with social issues within today. By organizing this young boy’s life just by taking look at society and how’s everyone contributing to one another. His life is depend on what the government or anyone who is leading depends on how he should live it. His sexuality depends on the future which people now at days don’t find his sexually as a important place in society which would make him feel small and unimportant. The wording behind him is describing the darkness that’s he’s going to feel because of who he wants to be loved by or love to. Other individuals may feel threaten of him or fear him or want to fix him by just being who he’s.
- The conclusion that I can draw from this text is being who you are depends on your future and how society would look at you small or big. It just depends on you and how society is and it’s sad because society can be cruel within the people as well. Being honest to just yourself can be risky because you may not know who’s going to be affected by it by just being yourself.

I have been researching some important topics to talk about in my paper but the idea was just right there in front of me and I haven’t realized it yet. Until now my topic would be on one of my favorite I am pretty sure everyone love this show because it’s tending worldwide. Euphoria it’s a show about teenagers speeding their young life with problems that most young people face in real life. It portrays problems like drug addiction, childhood trauma, and mental health. Issues that teenagers may face right now.
Euphoria can be a show that most young adults can relate into their lives because it talks about serious issues that other directors may not like to talk about especially issues where some viewers can find disturbing. This show brings real life issues to a perspective that can make people understand that they are not alone and everyone goes through these challenges and one may take it for advantage or abuse it. Mental health is one of the important issues that is shown in the show where teenagers feel that they are not worth it and it messes themselves up by getting into problems like drug abuse or being in a toxic relationship with one another by experiencing childhood trauma or anything that reflected them to act this certain way.

After reading “White English/ Black English: The Politics of Translation,” by June Jordan, Jordan finds fault in the following statement, in which then-President Richard Nixon describes the Vietnam War by not believing him and choosing to ignore his statement because of the way he’s using white English. Nixon is careless on what he says and doesn’t know the deeper meaning behind his words like when he said “compassionate” or “unselfish” When they start using white English its true purpose is to hide something important that the rest of the world can’t know because it benefits them and just only the privilege. Everyone and everything is a lie behind white English which is a disappointment because real issues can be talked about if people just used it properly.
Jordan means with the following statement, “The problem is that we are saying language, but really dealing with power” is language is the most important thing to acknowledge we communicate with one another like that and by doing people get to know us better as a individual in society. Language can be difficult to understand but if one person has good intentions on how they are saying it with tone and their facial expression people would know what they mean by saying it. White English and Black English can be both different languages to different people in society and sadly white English is taken more serious than black English which can cause problems. And people who just acknowledge white English would find themselves just knowing one and wouldn’t know the significance meaning behind when people intend to us black English. Our language represents us and where we come from and what our purpose is by communicating with one another its a part of you that people would intend to see you as a good or bad person it just depends on you.

My whole life I grew up and was raised in Queens New York to be more specifically Elmhurst. This city change a lot when I was growing up due to the fact that a movie theater I used to go to with my family when I was a little kid was transform into a Target and a fast food restaurant named Chick-fil-a where I work as right now. 82 Jackson Heights used to be a little neighborhood where there wasn’t a lot of shopping center or fast restaurants to choose from. But now a lot of people would be around there to shop with family or friends. I find it unrevealing how a neighborhood can change that much in a second and how more diverse it became too. Don’t get me wrong there’s still little posts ups where people sell food in their small carts and a lot of people would buy from them. It’s nice that that’s still around just a little reminder how it was back then. People were all new to this and wasn’t sure to be comfortable with it and get used to it knowing the fact there area is changing due to all these business shopping stores and restaurants. But it was a society change that change all people too with what they eat or what they choose to shop due to the fact that new clothing brands were opening up around them. Everyone try to make the best out of it but it was sad that place I used to go when I was younger closed down or went out of business because they chose another modern more well business to open up. A restaurant that I would used to go to with my family wasn’t the same anymore because of changed of owner so the food didn’t taste the same anymore.

Goofy who is a Disney character represents him being happy and always trying to goof around with his friends. I feel like thats what I do when I am around with my friends or when I like making funny memories. Those are the best ones especially when you can’t stop laughing with one another. Even in not in my good days I try to make myself smile or I try to make other people if they feel down. I like bringing laughter and fun. Bringing joy and happiness makes me feel better as an individual. When there’s a situation that I tend to overthink a lot I try to make the best out of the situation and set myself goals where I can lead myself to do better. I don’t try to put myself down and make me feel worse of what I already feel because I know its not gonna change anything so might as well make an action of a change. And that’s part of my goofy side because I bring myself happy thoughts and try to make myself better because thats the only person you got, yourself. Goofing around friends to cheer each other up its the best and being there for each other when one is going through a hard time they need someone with happy energy to make the laugh. Having a great energy around people its good because you make friends and you are easily able to socialize which for me it is because I like to joke around.
