2025 Highlights

Students and faculty at Baruch’s 2025 Research & Creative Inquiry Expo

On May 6 2025, Baruch College held its annual Research and Creative Inquiry Expo featuring over 250 participants and 155 research projects.

The event, organized by the Office of Experiential and Community Engaged Learning and spearheaded by Director Anthony Maniscalco, Ph.D. highlighted the growing diversity of student participation. “I am particularly pleased that we saw student representation from additional academic departments and programs at Baruch. For example, Black and Latino Studies, Fine and Performing Arts, Modern Languages, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation, among others.”

Among the projects presented are:

  • Chelsea Boakye (’25), Public and International Affairs at the Marxe School – “Health Disparities in Urban Communities”
  • Minha Hossain (’26), Psychology at the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences – “Climate Change and Parenthood: Impact on Family Size Decision-Making”
  • Jayla Charles (’25), Real Estate at the Zicklin School – “Housing Discrimination in NYC”
