Baruch College experience

Throughout my first semester at Baruch College I was fascinated by the way college worked. First of all, college classes have far less tests and homework as opposed to high school. The amount of homework we have in each class is very minimum however. Tests and projects account for a huge part of our grade. When I heard we had from 2-3 midterms it always made me wonder how that was possible. Of course the professor meant we would have 3 exams but, I have always wondered why they called it midterms. Anyways, the amount of tests greatly differed from the amount back in high school. I actually like the idea that we have less tests because it helps me to focus on a wider range of topics and practice honing my studying skills. With the decrease in amount of tests, it pressures me into studying harder and hopefully trying to get the A. With fewer tests and better grades on these tests, it will only ensure a better grade and another push towards finishing the class.
