The Baruch Experience

Baruch College is a big place I never thought I would see as many people fit into it. Many complain that going to college in Manhattan lacks “the college experience”, I say they are just being lazy. Going to college in Manhattan, especially Baruch, there are a lot of things to do all that is required is some exploration the area and making the most of it. I met some amazing people so far that have made my first semester comforting and truly unique. Classes are fair and well as long as you keep on track with your work. My first semester has been a time managing experience, time between classes, time in classes, time hanging out, time doing homework, time studying, time working, and time sleeping. It all seems like a lot but this is only the beginning. This is the time to learn strategies, make friends, and set a course for yourself.
My meme is fairly self explanatory. As a college student you have more responsibilities than before. A long day includes waking up way before the sun starts to rise, being in a crowded subway, grabbing breakfast before your are late to class, sitting through class, grasping what the professor is saying, grabbing lunch before your next class, going to that class, and after classes, homework in the library or hang out (maybe both). By the time you get home the only thing you want to do is drink something, eat food, jump into bed, and sleep.
