Baruch Experience

My first three months of college have been a handful so far, but it has also been great. I’ve been looking forward to college for a long time, especially during the summer. I was excited to embark on a new journey in my life and meet new people. It was a nice change from seeing all the same faces everyday. I’m glad that I chose to be in an LC my first semester because it really helps with the transition into college where you don’t know anyone, and I’m so thankful that the LC o was put in has gotten so close throughout the semester. Going into college, I still had that high school mentality and senioritis definitely did not wear off soon enough. It was hard adjusting to the amount of work load I was getting all at once. Time management is definitely a necessity in college especially in a commuter school. So much of my time is taken commuting to and from class, about three to fours a day, that it takes away from my studying or work time. Overall though, my experience at Baruch has been a good one and I love coming to the city to learn. I hope my experience here gets better with time.
