Baruch Experience
Carmen Wong on Dec 3rd 2012
My first three months at Baruch have been unforgettable. I never though Baruch would be so diverse. From what I’ve heard, Baruch is full of Asians. And although there are many Asians, there are also many other races. When I first came here, I thought I would be alone: eating by myself, studying by myself, and even walking to class by myself. However, it was the total opposite. I was fortunate to meet awesome people and make new friends. This helped me get used to Baruch. Unlike high school, there hasn’t been a day when I didn’t come home from school with a smile on my face.
This meme is a representation of me in class. I always sleep in all my classes. As soon as I get comfortable in my seat, I start closing my eyes, and my mind runs away from class. I know it’s a bad habit and puts me in danger of failing my classes. I should start sleeping earlier. I need better time management!
