My favorite enrichment program was the Baruch Voices V on Thursday, November 29 at 12:30pm in Mason Hall. Out of all the enrichment programs, I think this one is the most entertaining and amusing. The monologues being read were relatable and somewhere very amusing to listen too. I realized that whatever I’m going through, someone else is too. People were able to describe and vent about their personal lives, which probably helped them move forward. Personally, I think that the monologues were a great idea because it gave people a chance to express themselves as individuals. The actors doing the monologues really resonated through Mason Hall. They each embodied the monologue they read.
My favorite monologue was the one about bacon. Not only was it funny, it was about bacon. Bacon is one of my favorite foods. It’s crispy, it’s outright delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever heard such a good monologue about bacon before.
