The almighty workshop

Throughout my first semester atBaruchCollegeI was extremely lucky to be in class LC16. During our days in FRO we were lucky enough to go to many Enrichment workshops that helped us enhance our understanding of the world and certain skills we can utilize. I enjoyed the workshop where we learned about obtaining information and sources from reliable places. It was really interesting to see how many of the sources we come to know now a days are actually unreliable. The media isn’t as trustworthy to find out information as it used to be. I enjoyed the small lecture the professor gave us during the workshop. It was engaging and interesting. I also enjoyed going to the museum and learning about photography. It was really interesting to see how photography has changed as well as the perspective people have when it comes to viewing the world. The photographer who was giving us the information about her photos, I would hope to go to the gallery again in the future. I enjoyed most of the class discussion such as the leadership one. It was fun listening to what others feel about certain issues and how everyone was also respectful to each other. The leadership one was really nice because it helped me and inspired me to apply for TEAM Baruch. It also helped me understand certain aspects of being leader, since I was previously a leader. It opened up new opportunities and views that I did not have before. Overall, this semester was enlightening and I was able to learn many different things. From knowing how to surf the internet and find reliable sources to becoming a leader.
